Soprano, Jenny Williams is regarded as one of the most promising classical artists of her generation. Based in the North-West Jenny studied at Aquinas College in Stockport before progressing to the University of Central Lancashire where she gained a BA honours degree in Music Theatre.

After leaving University Jenny gained valuable performance experience with various theatre companies by taking leading roles in productions such as Phantom Of The Opera, West Side Story, Fame, The King and I and Blood Brothers before embarking upon a solo career performing all over England and Wales.

However it was a chance meeting with Manchester-based music business guru and manager Perry Hughes that convinced her that music really was her future when he immediately signed her up to his Roots Music Group Artist Academy to continue her development under the watchful eye of acclaimed opera star and recording artist Jon Christos, with whom she continues to study.

So impressed was he with her abilities that Jon has taken Jenny to support him at various major events including performances at The City of Manchester Stadium, Edgeley Park - Stockport County, The Age Concern Christmas Fund-raising Concert at Salford Cathedral, the NWBLT Summit for Liverpool’s Capital of Culture, The Manchester Summer Proms, Fulwood Arts School Fund-raising Extravaganza and the famous Manchester Five Star Scanner Appeal - all in front of packed celebrity audiences.

Amongst her many event commitments for 2009, Jenny made her début performance at Wembley Stadium on April 5th at the Johnstone Paint Cup Final in front of a crowd of over 70,000.

Later this year she will begin work in the recording studio on her début album.
